A story of love and simplicity that began eighty years ago
Elena and Giovanni Fraccaro opened their first bakery in Castelfranco, Veneto, in 1932.
The bakery became appreciated for the goodness of its bread and its sweet specialities and shortly after World War II, they opened a second bakery specialised in focaccia, panettone and plum cake.
This passion has been kept alive over the years Fraccaro’s products are still made using artisan methods in the family business, with the same aromas and the atmosphere of eighty years ago.
This Easter I chose their Focaccia.
Soft dough and fine butter for this delicate dessert originally from Verona, delicate sweet to taste and with a light dough.

Elena e Giovanni Fraccaro aprono il loro primo panificio fra le mura di Castelfranco nel 1932.
Il forno si fa apprezzare per il buon pane e le specialità dolciarie e nel primo dopoguerra, aprono un secondo forno specializzato in focacce, panettoni e plum-cake.
Ancora oggi i prodotti Fraccaro sono preparati in modo artigianale, fra gli stessi profumi e la stessa atmosfera della piccola impresa familiare di ottant’anni fa.
A Pasqua ho scelto di provare la loro Focaccia
Morbido impasto e fior di burro per gustare questo delicato dolce di origini veronesi, profumato, gradevolmente dolce e leggero nell’impasto.

Salvatore Ferragamo’s new fragrance is a celebration of modern femininity.
“Amo” – Italian for “I love” – is the declaration of a free-spirited young woman who is ready to seize the world and all that it has to offer.
The bottle is very feminine and is finished in a metallic rose and silver polish.
I believe after being in love with “Signorina Misteriosa”, this could be my new favourite fragrance from Ferragamo.
